Permanent Cosmetics

Overview         :         Fact Sheet

Using the SofTap™ method, pigment is carefully placed into the upper layer of the dermis for a natural look.

ALL PROCEDURES CARRY SOME UNCERTAINTY AND RISK
Complications are very rare, but the most common that occur are allergic reaction, infection, and migration

PREPARING FOR YOUR SURGERY
  1. You will need a patch test done one week before the planned procedure.  This will determine if you have any allergies to the products being used.
  2. Please come to your procedure without makeup. If you are having lips or brows done, bring a favorite coloring pencil.
  3. If you wear contact lenses and are having the eyeliner done, do not wear your lenses to your appointment. Bring your glasses!
  4. Do not use Aspirin or Ibuprofen for 10 days prior to your procedure.
  5. If you are having lip liner or full lip done and have had previous problems with cold sores, fever blisters, or mouth ulcers, even as a small child, the procedure is likely to re-activate the problem. You will be asked to take a prescribed oral medication from your doctor usually for two weeks prior to having treatment to your lips.  Lips may take up to three procedures to perfect. Lips heal in three stages: too bright, too light and healed color returning in about three weeks.

TYPES OF ANESTHESIA
A topical numbing cream will be applied to the area that is going to be treated 30 minutes prior to the procedure. After the procedure has begun a numbing gel will be applied periodically throughout the procedure to ensure there will be no discomfort to the patient.
