Faizi Siddiqi, M.D.

Introduction

Following completion of a General Surgery residency with dedicated research at the New York Presbyterian Affiliated Hospitals, Dr. Siddiqi received specialized training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His residency at Vanderbilt provided broad based training in reconstructive plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery, microsurgery, hand surgery and pediatric plastic surgery.

Given a passion for pediatrics, he further subspecialized with a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania/Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He has excellent experience in cleft lip and palate surgery, otoplasty, ear reconstruction, vascular malformations and hemangiomas, pigmented and cystic lesions. Moreover, he has expertise in various craniofacial anomalies include craniosynostosis, craniofacial dystoses and plagiocephaly. He also received extensive training in craniomaxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery and distraction osteogenesis.

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Utah, Dr. Siddiqi earned his undergraduate degree in biology at New York University and doctor of medicine degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine.

Dr. Siddiqi's clinical expertise encompasses many aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery with a focus on pediatric surgery and craniofacial surgery.
